Which receivers fit?

Currently there are cages to fit the Remington 700 Short Action and the Long Action (or clones). The Surgeon Short Action 591/R fits in the same cage as the Remington 700 Short Action and the Surgeon Long Action 1086/R fits in the same cage as the Remington 700 Long Action. Eventually we will be making cages for other models, but if you’re not sure about fit, please contact us.


What is the largest barrel size that will work?

A 1.35” barrel diameter will fit and still be free-floated.


Do you offer a military or law enforcement discount?

Yes. There is a 5% discount off Retail Price for the entire order for Active LEO / Military / Firefighters.

Is glass bedding required?

No. The 2 Action Screws tightened to 65 inch pounds, hold down the receiver into a machined cage which is interlocked into the machined chassis. Action can be removed repeatedly without affecting zero. The action screws are captured so they don’t fall out when the action is removed.


What magazines work with the JAE-700 and where can they be purchased?

Currently we have Collets that are for AICS Short or Long Action magazines. There are several distributors that sell them including www.brownells.com, www.midwayusa.com and http://store.thirdgenerationshootingsupply.com/.
